We went to Disneyland with our very best friends The Armstrongs this past summer.
We LOVE Disneyland with a passion, we are a bit of fanatics. So it was of course only fitting that we go with some people we love just as much.
Our whole family had a blast and I miss it already.
The Armstrongs live in New Mexico and we live in Utah so we met up for a fun family trip together.
Since they left Vegas in 2008 we have gotten together at least once a year to see each other.
A few times it was in Alaska when they were stationed there and then they came to see us here in Utah for a few days.
I am so glad that we have a family we love so much.
We got matching fabric for our baby girls (Aowyn and Aisley) and they looked so cute in their Minnie Mouse dresses.
The boys all bunked up in one bed.
Carsland had just opened not too long before and we seriously LOVED the cars ride so much.
It is definitely in our top favorites now.
Landon and Ila are a day apart in age and we got to spend their birthdays at Disneyland… It doesn’t get much better then that.
I am so glad they are such good friends.
Kirsten is pregnant so she did not get to enjoy all of the Awesome rides.
Braddoc and I got soaking wet on the rapids ride.
I think it took all day to dry off.
The girls of the trip.
I love them.
I got so burned at the beach that my skin was peeling off.
Braddoc NEVER goes to the characters when we come to Disneyland.
I literally cried when he ran up to Tigger and Pooh and hugged them.
I hoped Aowyn would run up too the princesses to love on them but we had just work her up and she was in no mood to love on Princesses.
The whole gang of kiddos.
So excited for the parade.
Driving at a young age… thats how we role.
The Fantasmic show is my favorite. I HIGHLY recommend it.
The pixar Parade is excellent too.
Too bad Aowyn slept the whole time.
The California Screaming makes me so sick, but these three guys braved it and loved it.
I love my kids so much.
I am head over heels in love with this guy.
I can’t believe he is 7!!!
Because Braddoc has autism and he has a terrible time waiting in line for things we were able to get a private showing with Mickey Mouse and did not have to wait in a line (we got to wait in an air conditioned hall way).
Braddoc ran up to Mickey with tears in his eyes and did not want to let him go when he saw him.
All of the kids were in Mickey Mouse heaven.
Every penny that was spent on that trip was worth in in that moment.
My perfect family.
The best group of friends a family could ask for.
The last time we came the kids started collecting Lanyard pins and we got super into it this time around.
I love those things.
So many memories in each pin.
We always do a character breakfast the day we leave.
I highly recommend it.
It really is so much fun and I love that they characters come to your table and that its characters you don’t see all the time.
Plus they have a ton of gluten free food so its pretty great.
I remember just a few years ago when Braddoc would scream and hide when any type of Character walked by (he once clawed his way up and around my back when the Red Robin bird came by our table)
so this was a huge accomplishment to see him hugging and loving on the Characters.
I think we need to make a yearly affair out of trips with these guys!!
