My amazing Friend Amy did it again. She took what was in my crazy head and made it a reality. After Fynnock was born we just couldn’t seem to get it to work out to get his newborn pictures taken. Amy lives 4.5 hours away and is pregnant with her own little Princess so she couldn’t get to me and our little Prince screamed non stop anytime he was in his car seat so getting together for pictures just never seemed to work out for us. Finally we were headed to a family reunion of sorts in Missouri so we decided to stop in and see Amy (who thankfully was on the way) and she took Fynnocks pictures. I figured out right before we left that the Fenugreek I was taking to keep up my milk supply for nursing was upsetting our precious babies tummy so I stopped taking that and the car seat screaming stopped (unless we were stuck in traffic or at a stop light).
I am totally a sucker for baby hands, feet, cheeks and chub. Babies are my weakness. I just love them. I want to hug them and kiss them and love them and never let them go…. good thing I have had 5 of my own and lots of other babies to love on.
We were both worried that with Fynnock being 3 months that we wouldn’t be able to get good pictures of him, but he was such a sweetheart the whole time and Amy is kind of a miracle worker, so she was able to get some amazing pictures of him.
I had a few requests…. Harry Potter pictures, baseball and football pictures and some feet pictures.
Since my little guy isn’t so newborn little anymore, we had to tweek some of the poses, but what we ended up with is amazing.
Seriously I am head over heels, is this really real?, in love with these pictures. We both joked that with the glasses on he looked a bit like Professor Trelawney.
I can’t stop staring at the amazingness of these photos.
The Potterhead that I am, I am totally geeking out over these pictures. Thats my adorable baby… mine! Gah!! How did I get so lucky?
We had to of course get a The boy Who Lived picture.
He looks the most like Trelawney in these pictures. Cutie pie!
I can’t wait till all of my babies read all the Harry Potter books, oh the late night talks we will have about that. The older ones all love the movies and my oldest and I have been reading the first book together. Harry Potter has been such a major part of my life that I had to get some pictures of my newest guy all decked out in Potter gear.
Being HUGE Alabama Football fans, ROLL TIDE, I had to get some pictures of him in an Alabama elephant hat. His personality shines through so much in these pictures. He sure is an angel.
I found the adorable crocheted hat on Etsy here. The shop owner was amazing and answered all my question and had the hat to me super fast.
Oh the insane cuteness. I just can’t get enough of this guy.
He fell asleep in my arms, his favorite place to be, and so we laid him down for some more pictures. Anytime the camera shutter clicked he would startle and we would both “shhhh” him and rub/pat his bum to get him back to sleep. This picture is definitely going on my wall, he just looks like a perfect little angel. I LOVE those eye lashes, the lips, that button nose and those precious hands. Every single ultra sound we have of him he had his hands up by his face and he has been no different since he has been born. This picture truly captures the miracle of new babies.
Future Alabama football star? If that’s what he wants I will sure try my best to help him achieve his dreams…. the sky is the limit and even then the galaxies are innumerable .
Those eyes though… swooning. His face absoutely crackes me up here. This kid is so full of personality.
I can’t even being to explain my love for this picture. The color of his eyes and the clouds in them draw me in. Babies truly are delicious.
I love that she captured his little chunkey monkiness and his adorable smile. Noah said he looks like he is sitting on Chewbaccas lap in this picture.
Those hands are always in his mouth right now… poor guy is teething. I love that she captured so much of his personality and the things that he loves doing right now. I want to remember those for forever.
8 lbs 14 oz
In this house he has no choice but to love baseball and football, its just a way of life around here.
I absolutely love this picture of all my babies feet… dirt and all. This picture truly means the world to me. My babies are growing way too fast and I know that every time I look at this picture my eyes will well up with tears. Truly, truly blessed.
I am beyond in love with each of these pictures. Words can truly not describe how much they each mean to me. I feel so blessed to have such amazing children and a great friend who can capture so many moments for me.
Etsy is a great place to find some amazing props for you newborn or other photos. I found Disney Character hats, wraps (like the one we used), all different kinds of adorable tiny hats, and lots of other amazing things. If you can dream it, surely someone has created it.
