You know those friends you have that you can go days, weeks, months with out talking to and still pick up right where you left off?
The kind that you know loves you no matter what.
The kind of friend that knows your short comings and loves you more for them.
I have a few of those friends and thanks to our 9 year stint in the military, they are spread across the US.
One of those amazing, life long, laugh till your stomach hurts, be your whole self with friends is Amy.
This summer in Alabama I got to see her again after almost 8 years of being away from her. It was the best reunion ever.
Amy is also a fantastic photographer and I have dreamed of the day when she could take our family pictures. I was thrilled when that day finally arrived this summer.
I am in awe of her talent and always swoon when I look at the pictures she takes.
She captures the perfectness of everything and you can’t help but stare at the pictures she takes.
Seriously, she is beyond talented.
You can see more of her fantastic work here and follow her on Facebook here.
These pictures need no words, so just enjoy.
Yes my family is adorable but Amy made us breath taking…. Ive never looked so good… just sayin’!
Our ten year anniversary is in March and I could not be happier.
This guy is the best parts of me and always encourages me to do my best and pursue my dreams

I couldn’t imagine a better life.

The youngest boy is a rough spot to be in sometimes but this kid always keeps it entertaining in our house and always makes us laugh.

This kid knows how to be an awesome big brother and takes such good care of all of us.
Being the oldest is a lot to have on your shoulders as a kid, and he carries his load profoundly well.

Living with Autism is HARD, but this kid does it every day with a smile on his face.
He cries about how hard it can be sometimes but tries to be brave each and every day.

This little girl brings such a perfect spirit into our family.
I can not imagine our life without her.
She has the biggest heart and the sweetest spirit.

Its so much fun to have a girl.
(go here, here, and here to read my thoughts on finally having a girl, the girl I never knew I needed.)

I love being able to spend so much time with each of my kids.
Their personalities are so different and they are so much fun to watch grow (also sad because they are growing too dang fast.)
(go here to read the letters that I wrote to each of my kids.)
I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful man to be the father of my children.
He is just a big kid himself and is the perfect dad for them.

Oh my gosh!!
LADY KILLER!!!

Smart, sweet and emotional.
This kid is going to make a fantastic husband someday.

He HATES the camera, but he was loving being in front of it with Amy.
These pictures capture so much of his personality.

This girl cares about everyone and everything.
She loves to help everyone and every time I look at her I see a future mom.
I couldn’t ask for a better daughter.

She is totally a daddies girl.
I love to see the two of them together.

A dad and his boys is a pretty great thing to see.
I love the relationship that each of them have with Noah, it really is so much fun to see them grow together.

Oh my sweet Wynnie.

You made me a mom of more then just boys.
I always thought I only wanted boys.
I needed you and I never even knew it.
You changed me the second you were born and you have made every day since so perfect.

I am so excited to print these pictures and put them up around the house.
Now comes the hard part……
Deciding what to print!!! I want them all.
